Stuck in the muddling middle? Fix your story in under an hour.

Use these simple story maps to lay out your novel scene by scene, spot what’s missing, and know exactly what to write next.

Why most writers get stuck:

  • You start strong and have a 'honeymoon phase' with your novel. But then you find yourself in the fog...

  • You're too close to your own story, and you start to wonder: is this working? Is it all rubbish? What should happen next?

  • You end up second-guessing everything, stalling, and starting over on a new story... only to repeat the cycle.

When you're lost, the solution is a map

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to plan my novel with the maps?

Under an hour if you focus - but you can work at your own pace to fill out the templates, and figure out what needs to change. Once purchased, you have lifetime access to the maps, so take as long as you need.

Do you have my genre?

There are maps for 25 different genres inside, covering all the most popular (fantasy, romance, science fiction, thriller etc) as well as genres like magical realism, women's fiction and contemporary fiction. If for any reason your genre isn't in there, simply email me and I'll add your sheet - I update them all the time.

At what point in the writing process should I use these?

These story templates are valuable at any stage. If you're planning your story, they'll give you the skeleton for your first draft. If you're stuck mid-draft, they'll give you the clarity you need to continue. If you already have a draft, fill them out to spot where your story is working and what you need to edit.

If they don't work for me, can I refund them?

Try it. If you fill one in and it doesn’t help, email me within 3 days and I’ll refund you.
